5 Reasons the Existence of God makes sense!

5 Reasons the Existence of God makes sense!

Reason #1 Only God makes sense of the Universe’s Origin.
For space and time to exist, there must be something before space and time that caused them to come into existence.  This is called the First Cause argument.  There cannot be and infinite regress of causes.  At some point in the past we must come to a supernatural, uncaused, changeless, timeless and immaterial First Cause that made everything else happen.

Reason #2 Only God makes sense of the Universe’s Complexity.
Physicist Stephen Hawking, “At the Big Bang, if the rate of the universe’s expansion had been off 1/on hundred/thousand/million/millionth of a second, the universe would have collapsed into a fireball.”
What are the chances of that happening without God?  http://youtu.be/YQefkiXvsqc

Reason #3 Only God makes sense of Objective Moral Values.
Objective moral values are beliefs that are universally valid and binding for everybody, independent of times, customs, and cultures.  Everyone believes they are right, or wrong, because it makes sense to them (Genocide, Infanticide, Rape, Torture is wrong…Love, truth, honesty, sacrifice is right…)
Without God, the existence of these universal moral values in us makes no sense.

Reason #4 Only God makes sense of Miracles.
Science has continued its steady and firm advance, but people still have faith in miracles just like before.  People believe in both.  Physicist Hugh Siefken, “I believe in science, and I believe in God, and I plan to continue testifying to both.”

Reason #5 Only God makes sense of Personal Transcendent Experiences.
Transcendence means you can know that God exists wholly apart from arguments by having an experience with Him, His angels, Heaven or Hell.  So many accounts of these encounters are on record now that philosophers today call these experiences, “properly basic beliefs.”  i.e.: it’s proper to believe in what you honestly think you saw, felt, or experienced.

Have you ever felt God?  Then no one has to tell you that God exists, or no one can tell you He doesn’t exist!
