The Lamp of God has NOT gone out!
1 Sam 3:3-4, and before the lamp of God went out in the tabernacle of the Lord where the ark of God was, and while Samuel waslying down, 4 that the Lord called Samuel. And he answered, "Here I am!" NKJV
Though Samuel was a boy, he knew that spiritually, the days in Israel were very dark. The sons of Eli were evil and Eli himself was weak and acquiescing. But, the lamp of God had NOT gone out!
Surely every Christian in America knows that, spiritually speaking, the days in America have become very dark. The President and Vice President have endorsed homosexual marriage and the church in America is weak and acquiescing. But, the lamp of God hasNOT gone out!
As the Lord called to Samuel, who was lying down at the time; so the Lord is calling to you today. Rise up! Go to Him and say,“Lord, here I am!” It’s not too late for you to be a Samuel to this generation. The lamp of God has NOT gone out!
